Nostalgia: Former Craven Herald & Pioneer workers, possibly taken around the back of the office. Possibly from 1958-59.
THIS week's nostalgia picture is close to our hearts.
It shows some Craven Herald employees in the 1950s.
It has been loaned by Linda Davies, formerly Stoney, whose grandfather, William (Billy) Hudson, is among those pictured.
"My granddad worked there as a compositor for many years and sadly died in 1963," she said.
Billy is pictured on the second row, first from the left.
There is also a very young David Cowley on the front row, fourth on the left. He went on to become works manager and retired after completing 50 years in the printing industry.
