THE gang's all here!

This picture by Roger Ingham, of Skipton, evokes memories of a time when tens of thousands of people flocked to Butlins Holiday Camps each summer.

The year was 1963 when Beatlemania, Christine Keeler and young boxer Cassius Clay dominated the headlines.

And, caught on camera in the dining room at Butlins, Filey, were these Skipton teenagers, from the left, Roger Ingham, Howard Baker, Roger Brennan, David Morrow, Eddie Horner and Jimmy Aldersley.

Jimmy became one of the world's top scientists, but died at a young age after being struck down by multiple sclerosis.
