Castleberg Hospital at Giggleswick
SIR - As the local council elections loomed, I was extremely disappointed to see none of our local council candidates have mentioned Castleberg Hospital and the fight to keep this vital NHS service open.
It's all gone very quiet and makes me wonder if the powers that be hope we forget about it.
In this area we need this hospital and it's so sad to see the building sat idle when it has so much potential to be brought back to life again to support our local ageing population.
