Skipton LMS lose 100 per cent record as Grindleton romp to 4-0 win

Skipton LMS’s 100 per cent start to the season fell by the wayside as they were beaten 4-0 at Grindleton in the Premier Division.
James Cumpstey’s first-half goals were cancelled out as Trawden overcame a 2-0 half-time deficit to beat Rolls 3-2.
Settle beat Chatburn 3-0 whereas Grassington recorded a 3-1 victory over Gargrave, as the latter remain three points behind in second with a game in hand.
Hat-tricks by Jordan Slade and William Knight put Skipton Town on their way to their fourth win from as many game in Division Two with a massive 9-3 victory against Earby Town Reserves.
Skipton LMS Reserves were also in attacking form as they beat Cross Hills Reserves 6-0, with John Bunnett scoring three in their first win of the season.
Andrew Collop’s first-half goal was enough to see Grassington United Reserves keep their perfect start to the season going with a 1-0 win at Salts in Division Three.
Cowling Reserves were thrashed 5-0 at home by Bromhill, whereas Sutton drew 2-2 at strugglers Ilkley.
Skipton Town Reserves moved to within a point of top spot in Division Four after they came back from a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 4-2 at Sutton Reserves.
The same applies to Carleton FC Reserves, who thrashed Barnolds- wick Barons 5-1, whereas Bradley Reserves remain joint-bottom after their 4-1 defeat at home to Polonia Patson.
