The mud and wet did not deter Helm Hill’s Tom Addison as he ended the year the way he started it with victory on Haworth Moor.

Addison, who had won the Stanbury Splash in January, headed the field of 426 runners in Tuesday’s Auld Lang Syne Fell Race.

His cousin Mark was second and Bingley Harriers’ Ian Holmes was third. The ladies prize went to Holly Page of Calder Valley who is pictured with men’s winner Tom Addison, above.
