Silsden to face Waddilove Cup holders Burley in first round encounter

Silsden have been handed the toughest of first round tests in this year’s Waddilove Cup They will be at home to holders Burley.

Silsden, who finished bottom of the Aire-Wharfe’s Division Three and had to apply for re-election last year, host the Division One club on Sunday, May 18.

Steeton visit 2013 semi-finalists Follifoot and Divis- ion Three champions Skip- ton visit Division Two Bolton Villas in preliminary-round matches on Sunday, April 27.

If Skipton are successful they will earn a home tie against either Adel or Alwoodley.

Waddilove Cup - Preliminary round: Adel v Alwoodley, Follifoot v Steeton, Bolton Villas v Skipton, Tong Park Esholt v Beckwithshaw. Matches to be played on Sunday, April 27. Birtwhistle Cup ties reversed.

First round: Bolton Villas or Skipton v Adel or Alwoodley, Collingham v Follifoot or Steeton, Tong Park Esholt or Beckwithshaw v Bilton, Horsforth v Horsforth Hall Park, Calverley v Rawdon, Knaresborough v Ilkley, Menston v Woodhouse, Silsden v Burley, Ben Rhydding v Thackley, Green Lane v Colton, Harden v Pool, Illingworth v Guiseley, North Leeds v Bardsey, Olicanian v Addingham, New Rover v Otley, Kirkstall v Upper Wharfedale. Matches to be played on Sunday, May 18. Birtwhistle Cup ties reversed.

Chappell Cup - First round: Thackley v Steeton, Follifoot v Bilton, North Leeds v Collingham, Horsforth v Adel, Olicanian bye, Ilkley v Rawdon, Knaresborough v Green Lane, Guiseley v Otley. Matches to be played on Sunday, May 11.
