Lowly Silsden Whitestar became the first side to take a point off Mastab's Craven League Division One leaders Settle United this season when they held them to a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Goals by Sam Stanfield and Jack Kendall brought Settle’s 11-match 100 per cent record to an end.

John Beckwith and Elliott Firth were on target for Settle United, who are two points clear of Earby Town now that table has been reworked following Embsay Reserves’ decision to withdraw.

Despite having six points erased from their record and 28 goals removed from their tally when Carleton’s results were expunged after their decision to pull out of the Premier Division, champions Skipton LMS remain top.

Four goals from Ian Craven and one by Luke Howsen powered them to a 5-0 win at Cowling.

Third-placed Cononley Sports, who also lost six points when Carleton’s record was deleted, had a 4-2 win over Wilsden, with Craig Gregory netting a hat-trick, Joel Binks also scoring.

Rolls were the day’s biggest winners as they defeated bottom team Embsay 8-1. Liam Garbutt led the spree with a hat-trick, while Sam Harrison (2), Chris Bell, Morgan Brown and Matthew Coates were also on target. The Embsay goal was scored by Nathan Robinson.

One crumb of consolation for Embsay is the fact that they actually had a defeat chalked off their record last week as they were the only team Carleton had beaten before their departure.

Skipton Town climbed into second place in Division Two with a convincing 4-0 win over Rolls Reserves. Liam Cartman, Jordan Slade, Jake Thompson and Andrew Nicholson were their scorers.

They took full advantage of Bingley Town’s 1-0 defeat by Skipton LMS Reserves to go above them on goal difference. Ian Rosie scored the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, leaders AFC Colne had little trouble seeing off Cononley Sports Reserves 4-1.

Goals by Luke Aspin, Anthony Ivens, Matthew Parkinson and Jake Hart sealed the three points, Andy Dunn replying for the losers.

Grassington United Reserves defeated Ilkley 2-1 to remain top of Division Three. The experienced Adam Steventon was on target.

Oxenhope Recreation remain second and kept their promotion hopes alive after a hard-fought 4-2 triumph over Settle United Reserves.

Joel Gallagher opened the scoring direct from a corner on 20 minutes, only for the home side to equalise soon after and then take the lead early in the second half.

The visitors levelled when Andy Fox broke through the Settle defence and slid the ball under the advancing keeper, and Recreation’s efforts were rewarded when Ellis Atha played the ball into Tony Cooper, who turned and drove the ball into the bottom corner.

The points were made safe when Gallagher claimed his second.

Third-placed Sporting Keighley had Amar Zaman sent off as they beat Broomhill 4-2, Aaran Abbas (2), Shazhaib Hussain and Rohbaan Rashid netting for the victors, while Darren Bateman and Daniel Zieczkowski were on target as Grindleton defeated Sutton 2-1.

Manningham All Stars saw their lead cut to one point in Division Four after suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to Horton.

Second-placed Bradley saw off bottom team Barnoldswick Barons 4-1, with Chris Hogg, Paul Hunt, Alastair Scott and Robbie Smith netting.

Polonia Patson remain third, despite being held to a 3-3 draw by Ingrow & Worth Valley Reserves. Daniel Trojan (2) and Mirdstaw Bak scored for Polonia.

Carleton Reserves saw off Sutton Reserves 3-0 thanks to efforts by Sam Athersmith, James Moore and Daniel Thompson.
