Wharfedale will be hoping to make it three wins out of three when they visit unbeaten Tynedale on Saturday.

Jon Feeley’s side can feel well satisfied with their start to the new National League One campaign, but they are aware that there are many tough tests ahead.

Both their victories, against Hartpury College and Darlington Mowden Park, have come against newly-promoted clubs, now they take on a side well versed at playing in the third tier of English rugby.

It is a measure of the satisfaction in the 32-18 home win over Darlington Mowden Park that the selectors have named an unchanged starting line up.

The only change is on the replacements’ bench where Anthony Oxley replaces young flanker Tom Burridge.

With former Leeds Carnegie scrum half James Doherty still out injured, second row Richard Rhodes will lead the side for the second time.

It also means that Phil Woodhead and local boy Harry Bullough will continue at half back.

Bullough made his National League One debut last week and will be looking to build on his performance.

Tynedale’s ground has proved a difficult venue for Wharfedale over the years, but they did win at Corbridge last season.
