ROLLS are the new leaders of the Mastab's Craven League Premier Division.

They took advantage of Cross Hills' home match against Trawden Celtic being postponed to leapfrog them courtesy of a 6-1 home victory over second-from-bottom Embsay.

Liam Garbutt (3), David Blacklock, Sam Chapman and Luke Cockroft were on target for Sam Harrison-inspired Rolls, while James Mole was Embsay's best player.

Cononley Sports Reserves, who are still without a win in Division One, looked on course for only their second point of the season.

The score was 1-1 at mid-table Bingley Town, but the hosts got the winner with five minutes left.

Bingley paid a penalty for not being ruthless when Craig Ebbrell gave Cononley the lead.

But, even though they again had the edge in the second half, it needed three substitutions to make a difference to Bingley in the second half, their man of the match Michael Judson scoring from the spot after skipper Chris Fernyhough had been bundled to the floor.

The home side dominated the last 20 minutes, and Kyle Richmond sweetly half-volleyed the winner.

Bradley lost 3-0 at Chatburn the previous week but fared even worse at home against the same opponents, going down 7-0 in a fourth straight defeat to remain just above the relegation places in tenth.

Gargrave went to the head of affairs after a 3-0 win at Ingrow & Worth Valley, Matt Simpson (2) and Tom Varey scoring while Nick Kendall was man of the match.

Settle United Reserves were the victims as Earby Town Reserves notched their first win of the season in Division Two with a solitary goal, while man of the match Calum Wootton's brace gave tenth-placed Skipton LMS Reserves a 2-1 home triumph over Salts, who they swapped places with.

Jimmy Anson-inspired Cross Hills Reserves gave it a good go at Division Three leaders Carleton before succumbing 4-2 to goals from Robert Bradley (2), Ben Teal and substitute Ian Rosie, while efforts from Liam Coates, Shane Dwyer, Jesse Teiti and substitute Shaun Wademan gave Skipton Town Reserves a 4-2 win at Barnoldswick Barons to climb a place to fifth.

However, Cowling Reserves were the big climbers, jumping from 11th to seventh on the back of a 4-2 home victory over Addingham, while there was sympathy for Bradley Reserves after a plucky effort at second-placed Pendle Renegades Reserves resulted in a 3-2 defeat, man of the match Andrew Hardeman and Tom Pilling netting for the losers.

* James Longbottom, Jordan Woolsey and James Halliday were on target for Craven League Premier Division side Wilsden as they saw off plucky underdog visitors Sutton 3-1 in a quarter-final of the Keighley & District FA Challenge Cup.

They join Steeton and Oxenhope Rec in the semi-finals, while Silsden Whitestar's home match against Cowling was postponed.
