THE Hall brothers are poised to complete a family double at Twickenham today.
The former Ermysted's students Rob and Matthew will run out on the hallowed turf sporting the light blue of Cambridge as they take on their old rivals Oxford.
Matthew, 20, a third year natural science student, will play at flanker in the under-21 game which kicks off at 11.30am, and then he will be able to cheer of his 22-year-old brother as he lines up in the main game which is televised live
Rob, who has previously featured in the under-21 game, has been selected at lock. It is a huge accolade for the fifth-year veterinary science student.
The brother, who both played their junior rugby at Wharfedale Rugby Club, are studying at Downing College.
Their father David, a farmer at Coniston Cold, was travelling down to Twickenham to cheer his sons on.
He said: “It is a big day for the boys. Rob was a travelling reserve last year so he is delighted to be playing in the main game this time.
“It will be an early start for me but I will be going to watch both games.”
