Silsden needed a last gasp penalty equaliser to prevent basement outfit Bacup and Rossendale Borough from leaving the Angel Telecom Stadium with all three points from their North West Counties Premier Division clash.
Simon Thompson gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of half time but into the third minute of stoppage time at the end of the second half Chris Wademan was fouled in the area and Craig Nicholls netted the spot kick.
