YET another damp Saturday saw play possible in only five games as the heavy rain of Friday caused widespread disruption.

There was no play in Division One but two matches beat the weather in Division Two.

Hepworth & Idle entertained Bradley and went down by eight wickets at Westfield Lane.

The home side batted first and were dismissed for 86. Chris Hawksworth scored 31 and Thomas Hawksworth (29) as James Heseltine spun his way to 6-11

Heseltine followed this with 26 to go with Neil Andrews (50no) as Bradley galloped to the points.

Gargrave must have thought they were in with a good chance of victory after they knocked over visitors Oakworth II for just 79.

Ben Howell top scored with 39 as skipper Will Smith claimed 4-31 and Harry McEneaney (4-38)

The home side were hustled out for 43 with Jack Ellis taking 4-23 and Howell (3-4).

Waj Mahmood made 57 as Haworth Road II made 131 at Baildon Bottom in Division Three.

Visitors Bradford & Bingley III replied with 77 with Tim Carrow top scoring with 27 as Anthony Haigh took 5-26.

Gargrave II travelled to Chatburn II in Division Four and made 129-9 with Tony Spensley hitting the day’s highest individual score of 76 as Travis Blezzard took 5-30.

The Ribble Valley side cruised to a six-wicket victory with Andy Booth (29no) and Blezzard (27) leading the way to the spoils.

Charlotte Boulton played a big part in Crossflatts II beating Bingley Congs II by four wickets at Rhysworth Park.

The Beckfoot Lane side posted 117-9 in their innings with Gary Cook making 44 as youngster Charlie Hall took 5-24 and Boulton (4-31).

Boulton followed this with 36 to go with Bryan Freimanis (30) and evergreen Dave Hall 29 as victory was achieved.
