SKIPTON swimmers returned with a 14-medal haul from the Bradford & District Amateur Swimming Association Gala series meeting at Shipley.

They secured seven golds, four silver and three bronze medals on another evening of encouraging performances.

Ben Housley led the way for the boys with victories in the 15 years and over 100metres butterfly and the boys open 50m backstroke.

Declan Sequeria took first place in the 13 years 4x50m individual medley and Matthew Housley won the100m freestyle in the same age group.

Hermione Roe was Skipton's second double winner of the night. She struck gold in the girls 11years 100m butterfly and the 4x50m individual medley.

There was victory too for Lily-Mae Pratt. She led the field home in the 9/10yrs 100m freestyle.

Madison Turner, girls 11 years 100m butterfly and 4 x 50m individual medley, picked up sliver medals along with Matthew Housley 13 years 4 x 50m individual medley and Megan Baines, girls open 50m backstroke.

The three bronze medallists were Mia Douglas, 13 years 4 x 50m individual medley, Macy Pratt, 13 years 100m freestyle and Megan Baines, open 50m freestyle.
