STRIKER Liam Garbutt scored five times as Rolls went on a goal spree against Cross Hills in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division.

Daniel Paton added a hat-trick while Luke Cockcroft rounded off the scoring in a 9-1 win for third-placed Rolls. Joshua Page netted the solitary response for Cross Hills.

Rolls are three points behind leaders Skipton LMS who were held to a 3-3 draw by defending champions Settle United.

Aidan Beard (2) and Oliver Hurst were on target for LMS while Luke Hepton, Mark Loughlin and Ben Philip replied.

Goals from Leon Binney, Jonathan Clapham, Liam Jameson and Jamie Poulter earned Gargrave a 4-1 win over Wilsden Athletic which enabled them to lift themselves out of the relegation positions.

Two goals from Daniel McNulty put Silsden Whitestar on course for a 4-2 win over lowly Earby Town in the Premier Division Cup.

Sam Stanfield and Chris Williams were also on target for Whitestar while Gavin Garbutt netted twice for Earby Town.

The top game in Division One saw third-placed Skipton Town earn a 2-2 draw away to second-place Chatburn. Jake Thompson netted both Town goals.

Mohammed Ammer and Shazad Khan also netted doubles as Sporting Keighley enjoyed a 4-1 away win over Oxenhope Rec.

Keiran Duxbury, Rory Entwistle, Sam Woolley and Andrew Cairns were all on target as Cowling inflicted a 4-0 defeat on bottom team Bradley.

Table-topping Pendle Renegades ended Embsay’s interest in this season’s Division One Cup as they inflicted a 6-3 defeat. Matthew Bowker (2), Owen Pearson (2), Shaun Bailey and Scott Myers were on target for Renegades, while Willie Evans (2) and David Wilkinson replied.

Division Two’s with the six matches produced a grand total of 41 goals

Just like their first team, Cross Hills Reserves also conceded nine goals as they went down 9-3 to FC Polonia. Luke Netwon (2) and Alastair Hopkinson provided their side with small crumbs of comfort as they dropped into the relegation zone on goal difference.

Carleton defeat Salts 5-4 with Adam Purnell (2), Jamie Fryers, Ben Teal and Stuart Gee getting their goals.

Grassington United’s 3-3 draw at Settle United was good enough to lift them out of the bottom two at Cross Hills’ expense. Ben Anderson, Freddie Binns and Darren Cox netted for Grassington with Tim Strickland (2) and Jonathan Dawson replying.

Leaders Manningham All Stars toppled bottom team Pendle Renegades Reserves 5-1 while second-placed Broomhill won 3-0 at Skipton Town Reserves.

Cononley Sports Reserves were pipped 3-2 in a close encounter with Trawden Celtic Reserves. Andrew Starkey and Chris Austin were Cononley’s marksmen.

Division Three was tops for goals with 43 coming in the six fixtures. Hellifield were the day’s hottest shots as they thrashed Barlick Wanderers 12-0 with Dale Denham netting six times.

Strikes from Kris Attewell, Matthew Beckwith, Simon Chapman, Paul Mounsey, Jacob Wroe and Carl Stanford completed the rout.

Barnoldswick Barons gunned down Ilkley Town 7-4 while a Danny Richardson hat-trick helped Horton to a 6-0 win at Addingham. Steven Marsden, Nick Cockell and Frank Jackson were also on target.

Goals from Tom Narey and Ricky Smith helped Broomhill Reserves to a 2-1 win at AFC Barnoldswick which lifted them off the bottom of the table.

They have climbed above Ingrow & Worth Valley Reserves who had a 2-2 draw with Cowling Reserves. Liam Fothergill and Craig Wheeler netted for Ingrow with Chris Wheetley and Jacob Fryer replying.
