SHAHID Nadeem held the key to Skipton's comfortable five-wicket win over Ben Rhydding in the Aire-Wharfe Division Two.

Nadeem took 4-38 as the home side were bowled out for 129 and was supported by Ji Mukherjee (2-31) and Ben Holderness (2-14).

That man Shahid proved to be the top performer with the bat too as he made 72 opening the innings as his side reached their target with ease.

Steeton beat fellow strugglers Collingham by eight-runs to raise hopes they can claw their way out of the Division One relegation dog fight.
