Farsley Ladies 3 Skipton Ladies 3

SKIPTON Ladies reversed a 3-0 half-time deficit at Farsley Ladies to earn an important West Riding County Women's League Division Two point with virtually the last kick of the game.

Playing downhill in the first half, promotion-chasing Skipton initially struggled to get a foothold in the match against a Farsley side who fully deserved their lead interval lead.

Skipton had begun to benefit from greater width in attack when Jess Wootton switched onto the right wing and they got back into the match after the break when the winger cut in from the left to drive her shot inside the near post.

The left winger added the second with a neat left-footed finish and coach Katie Hoggarth cleverly moved centre half Hatty Midgley up to join the attack in a frantic last ten minutes.

The move paid off as Farsley's defence was pinned back, and with the referee playing the final minute of injury time, Wootton crossed from the right and Lisa Dawson coolly slotted home the equaliser from the edge of the box.
