STEETON'S record goal-scorer Lee Reilly was denied the chance to make his 200th appearance for the club last Saturday as their match at DRAM Community was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The striker, who has scored 212 goals for the Chevrons, remains on 199 games ahead of Saturday's trip to West Riding County Amateur League title rivals Littletown.

The weekend's clash is the first of three games between the sides in March, with the Heckmondwike outfit making the trip to Steeton on Saturday, March 25 before the teams meet again in the Premier Division Cup semi-final on Wednesday, March 29 (7.30pm) at Campion's ground.

Steeton are currently in sixth spot in the table but a win this weekend would leave them just a point behind second-placed Littletown, who have a game in hand.

Roy Mason's men will travel with confidence, having beaten their hosts 4-1 at the same venue on their way to reaching next month's West Riding County FA Challenge Cup semi-final against Boroughbridge.

But they have been dealt a blow with news that Ben Richardson has been sidelined with a serious knee injury.

Steeton Reserves, whose game was also a victim of the wet weather last week, travel to high-flying Holmfirth Town in Division One on Saturday.
