FORMER club captain Craig Dinsdale, one of the lower handicap players, produced an outstanding performance to win the monthly stableford competition at Settle.
He finished an impressive five shots clear of his nearest rival, Peter Wroe.
Dinsdale's 40 points resulted in a well-deserved reduction to his handicap by one shot.
John Terry was third with 33 points on countback from Peter Eccleston.
It is hoped that the postponed Captains' drive in will take place this weekend, weather permitting.
