THE draw hasn't been kind to either Skipton LMS or Silsden Whitestar after they made their way into the quarter-finals of the Northern Plant Hire Trophy.

LMS, who beat visitors AFC Colne 2-0, will now be at Premier Division leaders Settle United, while Whitestar, who are fourth in the top flight, will host Rolls, who are second.

The Cobbydalers only led Division One Broomhill 2-1 at half-time, but eventually won 6-2 in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League's blue-riband competition.

Man of the match Jamie Longley (2), Zac Conway, Josh McNulty, Damien Whiteoak and substitute Daniel Thorpe were on target for Whitestar, while LMS, who are a place above them, had Ian Craven as one of their marksmen against, Colne, who are second.

In the Premier Division, fifth-placed Grassington United extended visitors Wilsden Athletic's winless run to seven matches by trouncing them 7-0.

James Morgan's hat-trick was backed up by braces by Jack Schindler, including a penalty, and substitute Jan Ozdoba.

Leaders Settle United won 3-1 at Trawden Celtic, courtesy of Daniel Mellor, Will Simpson and substitute Mark Loughlin.

Carleton shipped three goals without reply at Bingley Juniors in a Division One Cup quarter-final, while Skipton Town climbed from seventh to fourth in the second tier by defeating visitors Chatburn 2-0, thanks to a John Bunnett brace.

In Division Two, third-placed Cononley Sports look to be out of the title race – and probably promotion – after their 3-1 defeat at second placed Settle United Reserves, who are level with leaders Hellifield Sports with a game in hand.

Joel Birks was man of the match for Cross Hills Reserves, who went down 3-1 at Pendle Renegades Reserves, with substitute Chris Rushton getting the consolation goal in reply to George Blackburn, Elliott Lyttle and man of the match Shane Taylforth.

Peter Mogford, Carl Osadzenko, Gary Storey, Luke Scott and Richard Scott were on target for sixth-placed AFC Barnoldswick, who saw off fourth-placed visitors Trawden Celtic Reserves 5-2.

Silsden Whitestar Reserves had to withstand a second-half comeback by eighth-placed Bingley Juniors Reserves before confirming their place in the Division Three Cup final.

Whitestar's second string led 3-1 at the interval but only won 5-4 after efforts by Brad Fay (3) and Ryan Narey (2).

The final against Ilkley will be a battle of the top two.

Bradley Reserves may not finish bottom of Division Three after a 7-1 home win against Addingham, who are two places above them.

The second string are only a point behind Earby Town Reserves, who have played three games more and have finished their programme.

Daniel Cardus was man of the match for Settle United B, who lost 4-3 at Horton.
