SKIPTON Golf Club’s beginner lessons for ladies incentive got off to a flying start when almost 20 of them signed up for the month-long initiative.
Club professional Peter Robinson was on hand to offer the ladies expert advice in the basics of the game, then helped them get into the swing of things with practice shots.
The club launched the four lessons for £20 promotion in a bid to attract budding lady golfers to, providing equipment to help get them started.
Club director Sarah Coy, who is responsible for promotions, said: “We've had a great take up and we hope some of the new starters will go on to become club members and boost our ladies section.
"We are looking to repeat the exercise in the near future.”
