JACS Merit League leaders Colne Cricket Club take a five point lead into the second half of the season.

Three successive 11-1 home wins – the latest being secured against Devon A – has taken them onto 79 points.

Cononley A are second after an 8-4 away at Settle and Keighley A are a further six points back after a terrific 11-1 win at Gargrave A.

Colne Legion A are top of Division Two after their ninth straight win, an 11-1 home victory over Crosshills B.

They have 86 points and are three ahead of Silsden PF A whose most recent result was a 10-2 away win at Lund Park A.

Silsden’s only defeat was away at Legion, so they will be looking to get their revenge as the title race hots up.

Crosshills B and Sutton B are a distant third with 56 points each.

Division Three looks much tighter, at present Keighley B have 71 points after an 11-1 home win over Lund Park B.

Whinfield A and Rolls Royce are joint second with 67 points, Whinfield A picked up a 7-5 away win at Addingham A, while Rolls won 11-1 at Whinfield B, Silsden PF B are fourth with 65 points.

The Division Four leaders are Steeton B who have had a splendid first half of the season, they are top with 73 points from ten games.

Second-placed Craven are four points back but have a game in hand. The top two met at Craven last week where the home side came out on top on aggregate to win 6-4 after the match finished four winners each.

Gargrave C are third with 55 points and Crosshills C hold fourth on 50 points.

The Tuesday 54321 League looks a little different, the Walker Foster Division One table sees Keighley A holding top spot with 311 points.

Their one defeat came away at second-placed Devon A who have 299 points.

Devon A are unbeaten after scoring over 40 points in each game and travel to the league leaders next week.

Last week's results saw the home teams in top flow, as Keighley A fell just short of the maximum with a 49-19 win over Crosshills A, Devon A won 44-31 against Gargrave A.

Cononley A are third with 282 points and won 43-26 against Alkincoats PWA, Gargrave A 248, Sutton A 245 and Broughton Road A 244 are a tight group in mid table.

Colne Legion A are looking to take a league double as they head the Walker Foster Division Two with 294 points. Their latest win came at Gargrave B with a 41-29 point win.

Lund Park A are second with 275 points, but last week's result saw them go down at third place Whinfield A (273) 45-34.

Steeton A are fourth with 268 points, after a 40-30 win over Devon B.

The Skipton Building Society Division Three sees Rolls Royce in fine form. They are averaging 43.5 points per game and have 305 from seven straight wins. Their latest win was 45-23 at home to Silsden PF B.

Lund Park B hold second spot with 272 points after a 40-37 points win over Grassington. Third are Silsden PF B with 265 points. Just 19 points cover the teams from third to tenth.

Craven head the Skipton Building Society Division Four with 247 points. Last week's match saw them get a 34-26 points home win over second-placed Gargrave C who have 243 points.

The Inter District Veterans take on Bradford tomorrow with the home match at Crosshills and the away tie at West Bradford. Both matches start at 1.30 pm.

The League Summer Doubles competition will take place on Sunday 2nd July, the league executive will be looking for a good entry you can enter by email or phone the league secretary, all clubs will have an entry sheet.
