IT was the turn of Skipton Golf Club’s men’s captains to hold their annual competitions over the last few weeks.
Rabbits captain Matt Oxley’s event produced the outstanding round of the year so far from the juniors' captain, Max Berrisford.
He took first place in Division One with 43 points which also represented a round of gross 65 or five under par.
Derek Cooper came second two points back. Division Two required a countback after Paul Kent and Alex Acornley tied on 39 points.

The final event in the series was club captain Danny Hughes' event.
Both divisions produced close finishes with Andrew J Smith taking top honours in Division One with 42 points thanks to a birdie up the last hole. Ian Jolly finished second on the same points total. Division Two winner was Steve Abbey on 40 points with Andrew Burton finishing second on the same total .
