THREE Craven athletes helped England to strike gold in the Junior International Home International at Peebles.
The Ermysted's duo of Joe Hudson and Tom Hudson were joined in the triumphant under-17 boys team by Giggleswick's Euan Brennan.
Hudson made the running for much of the race over the testing 5.8km course with a total of 321m of climbing.
Brennan was also in the leading group of three before Hudson and England colleague Matthew Mackay from Rossendale Runners opened a gap.
It was a thrilling race with Hudson leading for for most of it before he was overtaken by Mackay on the final climb to finish.
Hudson took the silver medal with Brennan coming over the line in the bronze position for an England cleansweep of the medals.
Barrett also ran strongly and came in sixth to secure the team gold medal for his country.
Skipton Girls High School runner Emily Jones came 14th out of 21 runners in the under-17 girls race.
Hudson and Barrett run for Keighley & Craven, Brennan for Ilkley Harriers and Jones competes for Wharfedale Harriers.
