STEETON have been promoted to the North West Counties Football League Division One North, the club has announced.
The move from West Riding County Amateur Premier Division caps off a superb season for Roy Mason's side, after they won the West Riding County Amateur Premier Division League Cup earlier this month. They also lifted the Keighley & District FA Challenge Cup this term.
The club today tweeted: "We are delighted to announce that we have been promoted to the @nwcfl Division 1 North."
Steeton's promotion takes the number of teams from the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division over the past 14 seasons to gain promotion to six. The others are; Silsden, Brighouse Town, Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Albion Sports and Campion.
