CRAVEN Lawn Tennis Club held their annual President's Day competition under blue skies and a blazing sun on their now very parched grass courts in Gargrave.
A total of 24 players competed in the event which was won by Sally Clarke and Ron Bell with the runners-up being Janie Greaves and Seb Vereker.
The next event at the club is the annual Teenage Tournament on Monday which is open to players from the whole area.
The entry fee is £12 for club members and £15 for non members. The event runs from 11am-3pm and includes a barbecue lunch and all drinks and prizes.
