Wharfedale have re-appointed Rob Baldwin as captain for the 2011-12 season.

Baldwin, who recently led the England Counties on their successful tour of Spain, has a new deputy.

Wharfedale will kick off the new league season a week earlier than normal with an away trip to Macclesfield on August 27.

Their first home game is a week later against Coventry before their second away trip takes them to newly-promoted Fylde who have former England coach Brian Ashton and World cup winner Jason Robinson as part of their backroom team.

The Greens will get an early sighter of all the newly-promoted clubs. Ealing Trailfinders visit the Avenue on October 1 before Wharfe- dale make their first visit to Jersey seven days later.

North Ribblesdale in Yorkshire Division One and Skipton in Yorkshire Division Two,also open the season with away games.
