Skipton LMS have crowned their magnificent season by completing a trophy treble.

They defeated Cross Hills 4-1 at Engine Shed Lane on Thursday night to add the Premier Division League Cup to the league championship and Northern Plant Hire Trophy they had already won.

Chris Simpson netted twice while Oliver Hurst and substitute Joel Timmins were also on target for LMS.

Cross Hills battled gamely and Robert Matthews netted when they were 3-0 down to give his side some home.

There was a long delay soon afterwards when the Cross Hills player Luke Newton was knocked unconscious in an accidental collision.

He was taken by ambulance to Airedale Hospital suffering from a neck injury.

When the game resumed, LMS, who had beaten Cowling 4-2 in the Northern Plant Hire final 48-hours earlier, netted their fourth goal.

Grassington United were another side celebrating a cup triumph.

They overcame Silsden White Star 5-2 in the Division One League Cup final.

Their match winner was Jeremy Gee who netted a hat-trick.

Further goals by Robert Booth and Paul Wright sealed their victory.

White Star, who were on level terms at half-time at 2-2, had Scott Hanson and Sam Stanfield on target.

Bottom team Cross Hills Reserves recorded their first win of the campaign in their final Division Two match of the season.

They defeated fellow strugglers Earby Town Reserves 3-2 thanks to goals from Jack Matthews, Duncan Steel and Jack Harrison. Earby’s scorers were Matthew Parker and Joseph Pilling.
