THE Craven League is temporarily without a sponsor following the sudden ending of their deal with Mastab’s Indian Restaurant.
Devonshire Carpets, a previous sponsor of the league, have agreed to take over the sponsorship of the four League Cup competitions, the finals of which are due to take place in April/May this year.
Jon Beck of Devonshire Carpets will provide financial assistance towards the cost of trophies and man of the match awards.
League treasurer Bill Simpson said: "We are very grateful to Devonshire Carpets for stepping in at the last minute and we are looking forward to renewing our relationship with them."
The league chairman Gerry Aldersley confirmed: "We are involved in discussions with them and other interested parties about next season."
Mastab's were in their third season of sponsorship.
