CARLETON are still on course for a Craven League double.

The Division Three leaders, who are four points ahead with at least three games in hand on all of their title rivals, are also through to the final of the Division Three Cup.

They defeated visitors Cowling Reserves 9-3, with the goals coming from Robert Bradley (3), Stuart Hunn (2), Joshua Banks, Stuart Gee, Liam Steadman and man of the match Ben Teal.

Hopes of a derby in the final, however, were dashed when Cross Hills Reserves were beaten 4-1 at Trawden Celtic Reserves, who are the most likely team to challenge Carleton for the championship.

Settle United are through to the semi-finals of the Northern Plant Hire Trophy after a 4-0 victory at Rolls.

It was only 1-0 at half-time in the clash of Premier Division rivals before United took command, those on target being man of the match John Beckwith (2), Matt Simpson and substitute Will Simpson.

Ninth-placed Cononley Sports caused a minor tremor with their 6-4 home victory over sixth-placed Grassington United in the top flight, Sam Woolley (4), Reece Fowler and Liam Molloy netting for the winners, with Jack Schindler being man of the match for United, but there was no seismic upset when leaders Cross Hills faced basement boys Embsay, the scoreline being 4-0.

Bradley Fay won the gong for the winners, with David Greenwood doing likewise for Embsay.

In the First Division, fifth-placed Skipton Town triumphed 4-0 at home to seventh-placed Rolls Reserves, with Paul Clifton, Naq Hussain, William Knight and Andrew Nicholson getting the goals, with Michael Conroy being man of the match – an award Paul Oldroyd received for the losers.

Meanwhile, Bradley, who are tenth, went down 4-1 at home to Ingrow & Worth Valley, who climbed from ninth to eighth.

Adam Steventon could not prevent Grassington United Reserves from losing 5-1 at home to leaders FC Sporting Keighley in Division Two, while Lewis McKane and Leon Wright were on target for Barnoldswick Barons in their 2-0 win at Horton in the Division Three, Luke Roberts being man of the match.
