THERE seems little chance of Skipton LMS' championship challenge being derailed in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Premier Division.

They won 4-1 at Grassington United, courtesy of goals by Oliver Hunter, Matt Simpson and substitute Luke Howsen (2), and followed that with a 7-1 home thumping of Rolls, Howsen (2), man of the match Ian Craven, Reece Fowler, Oliver Hurst, Robert Matthews and substitute Daniel Hunt netting for the leaders.

Settle United are up to third after a 3-1 triumph over second-placed Trawden Celtic, with Luke Hepton (2) and Aaron Hollindrake being on target, while Grassington and Cross Hills swapped places in sixth and seventh after the south Craven side were defeated 2-1.

Silsden Whitestar put an end to Earby Town's revival. The visitors had won two, including a 3-1 defeat of Gargrave, and drawn one to climb off the bottom of the table but lost 3-1 at Keighley Road.

John Berry, Dan McNulty and substitute Sam Stanfield netted for the home side, who trailed 1-0 at half-time but turned it around to leave the likely relegation fight between Earby Town, Gargrave and Grindleton, who lost 8-1 at Wilsden Athletic.

In Division One, second-placed Cowling followed a 3-1 loss at leaders Pendle Renegades with a 4-1 derby setback at Oxenhope Recreation, giving hope to chasers Sporting Keighley, Colne and even Rolls Reserves.

Luke Barker and Rory Entwistle were Cowling's marksmen, while Sporting Keighley gained an important 3-1 home win over Rolls' second string, Damon Clark replying.

Embsay are reviving like Earby, with Embsay beating Rolls Reserves 5-3, David Greenwood (2), David Wilkinson (2) and Will Evans netting, and they also picked up a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Ingrow & Worth Valley, with Greenwood and substitute Stephen Speak on target.

Bradley's fare at the bottom is almost sealed, however, after defeats at Bingley Town (3-2) and at home to Skipton Town (2-1).

Carleton, who have made it six straight wins in Division Two, could well replace them.

The fourth-placed club won 6-2 at Skipton Town Reserves, Stuart Gee (2), man of the match Joshua Banks, Robert Bradley, Tom Palmer and substitute Jamie Fryers being their marksmen, while Ashley Purnell (2) and Banks were on target in the 3-0 victory at Trawden Celtic Reserves.

Hellifield are nailed on for promotion from Division Three after victories over bottom two Broomhill Reserves (7-1) and Sutton (3-0).
