Silsden 7, Daisy Hill 2

A NICKY McNally hat-trick helped SILSDEN brush aside Daisy Hill in a comfortable home win.

This second consecutive Hallmark Security League victory for the Cobbydalers lifted them to 11th in the Division One table with nine points from their first six games.

McNally opened the scoring in the eighth minute and wrapped it up eight minutes from time as James Gill's men dominated.

Leon Smith netted the home side's second goal within three minutes of the deadlock being broken and both he and McNally added before the break.

Daisy Hill hit back five minutes after the interval through Jon Stevenson but the Cobbydalers responded with a quickfire double courtesy of Kyle Hancock and Luke Richardson.

The visitors grabbed a second reply through Corey Harrison before McNally claimed his third.

Tonight sees ALBION SPORTS looking to maintain their 100 per cent start to the Toolstation Northern Counties East League season when they travel to promoted AFC Mansfield.

Albion are seventh in the Premier Division after winning their opening three league games, while it seems to be all or nothing for their hosts as the newcomers have won two and lost two so far.

LIVERSEDGE are above their neighbours in the table and could reclaim a share of the leadership if they win at Maltby Main. However, a victory for the home side would see Maltby join fourth-placed Sedge on ten points.
