Cammell Laird 1907 1 Barnoldswick Town 1

IT'S now six Premier Division games without a win after Barnoldswick Town had victory snatched from their grasp in the last minute on Saturday.

Zac Hardacre's late goal salvaged a point for winless Cammell Laird and gave them a measure of consolation for their recent 2-1 Macron Cup defeat when Aaron Hollindrake's 90th minute strike took Town into the third round.

Town's inconsistent form means they are now just six points above the relegation zone and they will be hoping to end their slide when they entertain Abbey Hey on Saturday.

Their cause wasn't helped at Cammell Laird by the 73rd minute dismissal of defender Arley Barnes for his second bookable offence.

Mark Threlfall, James Crokern, Jonathan Hodgkinson and Zack Dale all joined him in the referee's notebook as Town failed to capitalise on a bright start.

Town looked to be heading for a welcome win when Dale fired them into an 11th minute, but they were unable to add to their advantage.

Cammell Laird, who had previously taken just five points from 19 games, made their extra man count after the dismissal of Barnes, to salvage their sixth draw.
