TOP two Rolls and Settle United met in the Premier Division of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League.

There were no goals before the interval in the clash at Rolls Royce Sports Ground, but visitors United netted twice in the second half via Mark Loughlin and Ben Philip.

Only Liam Garbutt scored for the hosts, and the defeat cost them the leadership, with United overtaking them.

Silsden Whitestar, who are fourth, remain their chief dangers, however, being seven points behind with two games in hand.

At the other end of the table, Cross Hills turned the excitement metre up to ten, being involved in a 5-5 draw at home to Sporting Keighley.

Tom Storrie (2), man of the match Harry Eastbury, Robert Matthews and Jack Wrigglesworth were on target for the south Craveners as they and Sporting battle to avoid the second relegation place in front of Earby Town.

Cross Hills are tenth and Sporting ninth, both on 11 points, nine points behind Wilsden Athletic, while Earby Town only have three points.

Cowling seem favourites to replace Earby Town as the Division One leaders made it 12 wins out of 17 with a 2-1 triumph at faltering AFC Colne.

The Barkers played a prominent role in Cowling's victory, with Luke getting one of the goals (Jacob Hough got the other) and Lee being named man of the match.

Cowling are 11 points clear of Rolls Reserves, but the latter have three games in hand.

Rolls' second string triumphed 6-3 at Manningham Allstars, courtesy of Terry Robbins (2), Tom Shaw (2), Chris Holt and Martin Shaw.

Robert Bradley and Stuart Gee were Carleton's marksmen in another 2-1 scoreline, this time at Bingley Juniors.

Settle United Reserves mirrored their first team by winning 3-1 at Salts, with Barnaby Harrison (2) and man of the match Matthew Cardus on target, but goals by Sean Clayton and Elliott Hall were not enough for Grassington United Reserves, who lost 3-2 at Trawden Celtic Reserves.

Mickey Ruddock scored both of Sutton's goals in Division Three and was their man of the match at Horton, but they also lost 3-2.

Sutton remained ninth but Horton climbed three places to fourth.

Settle United Thirds made it a winning club treble with a 3-0 home victory over Earby Town Reserves, with man of the match Daniel Cardus, Ryan Dunn and substitute James Wright getting the goals.
