BARNOLDSWICK registered their first Hallmark Security League Premier Division win of the season at the Silentnight Stadium on Tuesday night.

Striker Danny Boyle opened the scoring after 31 minutes as Town bounced back from their 1-0 opening day defeat at Winsford United.

Burscough made a double substitution at half-time and began to press for an equaliser. but soon found themselves 3-0 down.

Joel Melia netted after 52 minutes before Zack Dale curled the ball from the corner of the penalty area into the far top corner six minutes later.
