Squires Gate 1 Barnoldswick Town 3
BARNOLDSWICK Town recorded their first Hallmark Security League Premier Division away win of the season when they defeated Squires Gate 3-1 on Tuesday night.
Danny Craig’s side bounced back from Saturday’s 1-0 home loss to Runcorn side by beating the division’s bottom team.
Mark Threlfall opened the scoring after 17 minutes and the lead was doubled when Harry Thompson netted in the 35th minute.
Squires Gate responded with a goal from Tarren Moxon seven minutes after the break, but striker Danny Boyle made the game safe with a third Town goal after 72 minutes.
