IT’S NOW four wins from four for Silsden Whitestar after a 4-1 victory over Pendle Renegades kept them at the top of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division.

James Wilson scored twice in a man of the match display, with Will Storrie and Damien Whiteoak adding the other two goals as Jordan Slade’s first-half strike was rendered meaningless.

Rolls’ first defeat means the gap to second is five points, Oliver Hunter scored twice in a 3-2 defeat to Grassington United, who are now level on points in third thanks to Matthew Appleton, James Morgan and Jan Ozdoba.

Cross Hills defeated Cowling for their first win, Joel Birks (2) and Harry Eastbury were on target while George Sellars bagged the latter’s consolation.

Settle United were also big winners, posting a 5-1 scoreline at struggling side Sporting Keighley.

Both Elliot Firth and Matthew Cardus scored twice, as William Beckwith added a fifth. Shazad Khan was the scorer of Keighley’s consolation.

In Division One, Carleton made it five wins from five with a 7-0 hammering of Bradley, former Skipton LMS striker Luke Howsen scoring six in an outstanding display, while Jamie Fryers was also on the scoresheet.

Skipton Town jumped into second thanks to Mike Thompson’s double, Sam Kimberley also hitting the back of the net as Hellifield Sports were defeated 3-1 – George Beckwith grabbing the hosts’ only goal.

Settle United were beaten 3-1 by Broomhill, their goal coming from Paul Ambrose, and Cononley Sports brushed aside Earby Town 7-0.

Burnley Belvedere are going strong in their bid for promotion, topping Division Three with four wins from four after beating Cross Hills Reserves 8-3.

Billy Skelton twice got himself on the scoresheet to be named man of the match, with Cross Hills’ third goal coming from substitute Kyle Steel.

Cowling Reserves’ Jack Diamond scored a brace to earn them a 2-0 win over Bingley Town Reserves, a return doubled by Broomhill Reserves’ Tyler Brigg.

He scored four as they defeated Sutton 6-1, Jack Shaw getting the consolation.

Horton remain in seventh after a narrow 3-2 win over Otley Town, goals coming from Andrew Jackson, Drew Jennings and Danny Richardson.
