Hot-shot Spencer takes Barnoldswick's top awards

Spencer Jordan is the leading scorer
Leading scorer Spencer Jordan took the top honours at Barnoldswick Town’s end-of-season presentation evening.
Jordan, who scored 23 goals, was voted both players’ player and managers’ player of the year.
Talented goalkeeper Marko Marosi, who ended the season as first choice, won best young player and second team player of the year.
The Barnoldswick squad began pre-season training last Thursday.
Their first friendly is at Old Blackburn- ians on July 14. They also visit Euxton Villa (July 17), Garstang (July 18), Haslingden St Mary’s (July 26) and Lancaster City (July 28). Their only home friendly is against AFC Fylde on July 21.
The North West Counties League season starts on Saturday, August 4 when Town visit Runcorn Linnets.
They follow up with a home clash against Squires Gate on Tuesday, August 7. Further fixtures have still to be released.
