LEADERS Cononley and Bradford & Bingley III are the only sides undefeated in Craven League Division Three.

At Cononley the home side rattled up 271-4 against Thornton with Cameron Knowles (114) and Charles Calvert (85) posting 153 for the second wicket. Kev Pollard (43) and Tom Cleaver (32) were the main contributors to the Booth Bridge Lane side's 170-8.

Bradford & Bingley III just held off the challenge of Skipton CI at Sandylands. Shahbaz Ahmed (46), Adam Swallow (40) and Rick Foulder (40) helped the visitors to 193-8. Darren Pighills (57) top-scored as the home side replied with 183 as Andy Dobson took 4-42.

Gargrave’s Stuart Weatherill weighed in with 7-30 as Barrowford II were hustled out for 88 at Bull Holme. Earlier the visitors had scored 229-9 with Joel Wood making 97 and Ben Rhodes 64 as Nigel Jones took 4-45.

Embsay II were out of sorts at Eldwick & Gilstead. They could only muster 93 as Andrew Stephenson claimed 6-30. Then Jacob Roach hit 69 as the homeside sauntered home by eight wickets.

Ryan Jennings (41) and Ben Hemsley (34) helped Bingley Congs II to 140-7 at Riddlesden II. Then Jonny Teale took 5-42 to have the Grange Road side back in the hut for 122.

Bradley get three points after Sandy Lane II were unable to raise a side.

Sutton II are on top of Division Four A after a 93-run victory over Crossflatts II at Royd Hill. Simon Todd hit a 71-ball 114 to go with Dan Hanson (59) and Stuart Tillotson (53) as the hosts rattled up an impressive 286-3. Flatts soon found themselves 22-4 but then rallied to close on 193-9 with Mayank Singh scoring 51.

Dave Goodman (68) and Dave Matthews (58) saw Hepworth & Idle II to 215-6 at Airedale II. The latter then took 3-52 as the Bradford Road side closed on 178-9 with Simon Hunter (49) and Tim Crossley (41) being the main run-getters.

Skipton CI II were all out for 88 at Cowling II. The Coliseum side had earlier scored 244-5 with Ajmal Choudhry making a superb 132no and John Cleaver 48.

Haworth II’s Richard Godden (6-35) and Charlie Shimmin (4-34) had Chatburn II back in the hut for 70 up at West Lane. The Bronte side romped home by seven wickets.

Bingley Congs III had only won one game prior to this season but don’t seem to be able to stop winning so far this year. They entertained Ingrow at Penistone Park and saw them score 153-8 with Ryan Higgs making 46 as Sam Waterhouse claimed 5-30. The hosts reached their target for the loss of five wickets with Ben Nattress (76) and Rick Andrews (31) leading the way.

Ten-man Foulridge II just held on by their fingertips to record a four-run win over visitors Denholme II up at Noyna.

Evergreen Jan Haider was in fine fettle as his Long Lee II side beat Bradley by six wickets at Golden View. Bradley II made 204 with John Drake making 35 and Michael Clarkson 34 as Jack Kennedy claimed 4-58. Haider then carried his bat for a super 108no to see his side to the points.

Oakworth III were at Park Field and posted 161 thanks to No 9 Andrew Keslinke (42) and extras (38), with Alan Coney taking 4-18. The latter followed this with 81 to take Glusburn past the winning post.

Silsden batted first for the first time this season and made 192-8 with Andy Pullen (42) and Rob Jones (41) top-scoring. Cononley II replied with 161 with Nathan Parker (54) top-scoring as Will Pullen (4-29) and Kieran Lawrence (3-48) did most of the damage with the ball.
