The new GB crew, which also consisted of Alex Gregory, Moe Sbihi and George Nash, built on their recent European Championship triumph, to win in Aiguebelette.
Olympic gold medallists Helen Glover and Heather Stanning marked their first return to the boat together since London 2012 with a win in the women's pairs.
