THE Skipton Academy students are celebrating after winning the Bradford Secondary Schools Sports Association - Emerging League Central Venue Under-15 Netball competition.
The girls beat The Hanson School 9-2 in the semi-final and then went on to beat Queensbury 8-7 in the final. They had previously had to win through local heats to even get to this stage. The girls were all outstanding and have delivered the first sports trophy to the new academy.
