WILL Midgley and Jonathan Driver had a successful time in the Mid Wales Stages, the second round of the 2015 RAC Championship.
Based in Newtown, Powys, this was a fantastic event covering some of the most famous stages in world rallying such as Pikes Peak, Hafren and Sweet Lamb.
With a starting number of 81, and out of a field of over 106 cars, they finished 32 overall and first in class. It wasn't all plain sailing with their Toyota Corolla suffering from a fault with the alternator during Stage One, which was replaced during first service.
Fortunately that was the only issue with the car, with the weather providing the rest of the challenges during heavy snow blizzards mixed with thunder and lightening.
