NIAMH Mirfield and Joel Phillip won gold medals for Skipton in the Bradford & District Amateur Swimming Association Gala Five at Shipley Pool.
The two talented swimmers also collected one silver medal each on an en evening when Skipton brought home a total of two gold, six silver and two bronze medals.
Mirfield was the second fastest qualifier for the girls 12 years 100m freestyle with a time of 1min 11.58 sec which she bettered in the final to secure victory with 1:11.41.
Phillip's victory came in the boys 12 years 100m freestyle where he swam 1.05.68 as he improved on the 1:05.89 he achieved in qualifying.
His closest challenger was his team-mate Sam King whose time of 1:08:23 was a tenth of s second slower than his qualifying performance.
Mirfield earned her silver medal in the girls 12 years 4 x 50m individual medley with a time of 3:03.01 while Phillip was second in the corresponding race for the boys with 2.46.64.
Madison Turner and Hermione Roe took second and third places respectively in the girls 9/10yrs 50m butterfly. Turner recorded a time of 40.09 and Roe 41.33.
Ellen Wright missed out on gold by less than a second after a stirring swim to take second place in the girls 11 years 100m breaststroke. She stopped the clock at 1:37.05.
Luke Midgley earned a silver medal in the boys 13 years 100m breaststroke where he recorded a time of 1:22.64.
Midgley also showed great determination in the boys 13 years 100m butterfly as he secured third place with 1:18.33.
