NIGHTWEAR will be the order of the day for the annual Silsden New Year’s Day Fun Run.
Runners are encouraged to don their pyjamas for the race, which starts at 11:15am from Bradley Road in Silsden. Registration is from 10:45am and the entry fee is £2.
The presentation will be held afterwards in the Sunnybank Social Club (above Silsden Co-Op).
Every runner needs to bring a wrapped Christmas present for the presentation.
There will also be a fancy dress theme in the Auld Lang Syne Race on Haworth Moor tomorrow morning.
The 9.6km race from Penistone Hill Country Park starts at 11.30am.
Olympic triathlete Alistair Brownlee won last year’s event, while Keighley’s Ian Holmes triumphed in the veterans category.
