PHIL Dowgill will be hoping for another good run in the Yorkshire Merit.
The Crosshills bowler reached the last four last season and will be hoping to claim one of the two places up for grabs in the local qualifier at Steeton.
Competition is expected to be tough with Richard Hargreaves and Peter Clark, two more men who have competed in finals day in the past, lining up in tomorrow night's field.
The top two go forward to Monday's finals at Almondbury Liberal Club in Huddersfield where there is £2,000 of prize money on offer.
