MANY of the competitors found the playing conditions extremely difficult at Settle over the weekend and the dreaded no return featured highly on the scoreboard.
However, there is always an exception, and this week it was Seniors' captain Peter Morton who defied the odds, returning an exceptional nett 68, despite having considerable trouble with the par threes.
Morton's closest rival was Chris Ward whose nett 72 left him four shots behind the winner.
Craig Dinsdale also returned a nett 72, finishing in third spot on countback.
