KEIGHLEY A are well placed to pull off a cleansweep of the Skipton & District Bowling League's top honours.

They have already won the Walker Foster 54321 Division One title, are top of the JACS Trade and DIY Division One and go to Colne Legion Club for the final of the Skipton Hire Centre Clarkson Cup.

It promises to be thrilling finish to the 2017 season with so much going down to the last games.

Last week in the JACS Merit League Division One, Keighley A produced a 12-0 cleansweep against Gargrave A, to give them 136 points and top spot.

Colne Cricket Club (134) picked the wrong time to have a bad night as they went down 7-5 at Devon A, while Cononley A (132) kept in touch with a 10-2 win over Settle A.

Tonight's last round of fixtures are enthralling. Keighley A travel to Crosshills A, who will certainly not be lying down.

Colne Cricket Club entertain Cononley A in what promises to be a cracking match.

At the other end of the table Settle A are now bottom with 75 points and look doomed, Gargrave A have 81.

The big result at the bottom saw Broughton Road A win 9-3 at Silsden which moved them up to 80 points.

Sutton A suffered a major setback losing at home to Crosshills A 9-3, which keeps them in trouble with 82.

Sutton A travel to Broughton Road A for their last match, Settle A are at home to Silsden and Gargrave A are at home to Devon A.

Division Two sees Colne Legion A and Silsden PF A matching each other.

Silsden PF A secured a 10-2 home win over third-placed Lund Park A, Colne Legion A had a tricky fixture at Crosshills B and also won 10-2.

Colne Legion A have 152 points, while Silsden PF A have 148, Lund Park A remain third with 106.

The last relegation place is tight, Devon B picked up a good 6-6 draw at Oakworth leaving them on 87 points, Gargrave B won 9-3 at home to Sutton B which gave Gargrave B 89 and Sutton B 90.

The final fixtures are Sutton B at home Silsden PF A, Gargrave B travel to Colne Legion A and Devon B entertain Steeton A.

Division Three is just as tight, Rolls Royce hold top spot but let four points go at home to relegation threatened Whinfield B with a 8-4 win, Whinfield A won 10-2 at home to Addingham A and Keighley B won 8-4 at Lund Park B.

That leaves Rolls Royce on 132, Whinfield A 131 and Keighley B 128, the last fixtures sees Rolls Royce travel to Keighley B and Whinfield A have no easy task away at Silsden PF B.

At the bottom Grassington (78), Whinfield B (80) and Lund Park B (84) must fight out the two relegation places, with Grassington hosting Lund Park B in the last match. Whinfield B are at home to Broughton Road B.

Craven (142) will be fourth division champions if they collect six points at home to bottom team Whinfield C.

Steeton B (127) have two away games at Addingham B and Keighley C, they need a couple of points to secure second place and promotion, Crosshills C (118) will finish third.

The Walker Foster League division one has been won by Keighley A. They have 738 points after last week's 43-29 win at Crosshills confirmed top spot.

Devon A (674) will claim second after they went down 43-33 at Gargrave A. Cononley A (639) should take third spot after a good win 43-26 at Alkincoates PWA.

Colne Legion A (730) have had just one defeat in Division Two, their last win came at home to Gargrave B 43-30.

Lund Park A (694) have claimed second place with 41-34 win over Whinfield A, Steeton A (639) remain third but where beaten at fourth-placed Devon B (638) 39-27.

The Skipton Building Society Division Three leaders are Keighley B with 690 points they won at home 43-31 against Steeton B, which at present gives a 18 point lead over Rolls Royce (672).

Rolls won 40-32 at Silsden PF B which was good enough to keep them in touch of Keighley B, so their game in hand should see them take top spot. Silsden PF B (659) are in third place with Addingham A (641) in fourth.

The Norman Johnston qualifying round takes place on Tuesday, August 29 with the final on Thursday, September 7 places still available.
