THOMAS Horsley netted a bronze medal in his first Tennis Europe Tournament.
The Ermysted’s Grammar School student reached the semi-finals of the under-14 boys singles in the Paradis Open in Bergen, Norway.
Horsley, who plays at Ilkley Lawn Tennis Club. Battled his way through the qualifying draw to the main draw which featured 32players.
He battled through three rounds before losing to the French second seed Cesar Bouchelaghem in a close three-set contest, 5-7 6-1 0-6.
Horsley hopes to compete in further Tennis Europe events in 2018.
