GHYLL Golf Club became Bradford Union Nine-Hole Club champions for the second year in succession after racking up exactly 300 in the 2018 tournament at East Bierley.

Consistency was key, as five of their six players shot rounds of under 80. They were particularly indebted to Gavin Stocker and Steve Greenwood, who hit 72 and 74 respectively.

A strong team performance from Ghyll saw them finish five shots clear of South Bradford, whose star performer was Bradford Golf Union team regular Andrew Busfield, who shot 73.

Headley came third with an overall score of 310, which was mainly due to a fine score of 71 from Chris Brown.

Brown's excellence was rewarded as he secured the Best Gross individual trophy, as well as the Nett version with a final total of 66.
