THREE talented youngsters from the Skipton Karate Centre will compete in the World Championships for the first time today.
Aimee Culverhouse aged 14, Joe McCash aged 12 and Leo Burton aged 12 are competing in the four-day event in Dundee.
All of them are black belts and have been preparing hard for their toughest test.
Each of them has been selected to compete in the individual and the team fighting.
Culverhouse is also taking part in the kata section.
βIt takes a lot of courage and determination to compete in such a prestigious tournament,β said their instructor Ian Spence who will be on duty at the event as coach for the Shukokai/Shitoryu Karate Alliance.
