COWLING Harlequins under-eights enjoyed a great 5-2 win against Kellingley Cubs.
Shakeal Templeton darted over for their first score. He went on to bag a hat-trick as Quins led 3-1 at the break. Great defence from Kayden Smith, Lewis Jones, Logan Sharp, Reegan Rushworth and William Hacaniok ensured Kellingley could not get a foothold in the game.
Most improved player Hacaniok ran wide for a great score before Bradley Foulds powered past five defenders to seal Quins' win.
Cowling under-tens were missing four key players due to injuries and it showed as a fully-fit Thornhill Trojans triumphed 48-0.
Player of the match for Quins was Demi Lea Grieg and most improved was Elle Kinley.
